Let me go
Beyond the twilight,
Where the dark night
Waits for the twinkling stars
To come up with their light of hope,
Giving all beings a share of it
The deadly night shows its friendly nature
No doubt the night is full of haunt,
But to collect the twinkling hopes lies on us.
Let me go,
Ahead of the sun
Where the sunrise
Dawns upon the sky
Heralding its benign presence
Like a new big chapter
Left to be revised
Scorching my mind now
But promising for better
A hard walk to cover
But leading to a bright future.
Let me go,
Between the sweet melodies
Where the chirping of birds
Sing that song of
Unheard bravery and valour
To make me know that
The real essence of life
Lies not in fame
But in simplicity
And many have died
Benign deaths for great cause
Only some have achieved that fame.
Let me go,
High up in the sky
Where I traverse
In the lap of the winds
To feel the caress
Of cold blowing breeze
But at the same time
Ready for all the scoldings
Of the storms coming ahead
No caress is felt to its best
Unless and until
You have suffered the worst scoldings.
Let me go,
Above the soft branches
Where the growing roots
And respiring leaves of trees
Teach me to first learn self love
Then only lend a hand of helping
First live yourself
Then help others to live
No shade is born
Out of dead leaves.
Let me go,
Inside the crust and out of it
Where I stand not on earth
But hug her instead
Only to lessen the burden
And sufferings I have rendered her
To learn from her
The art of benign hospitality
The way she brings every element together
Is a lesson of unity worth learning.
Yes!
I have gone,
In my dreams
Crossing the horizons
Of a world still unknown,
And now I dream
To reach till the twilight
To discover that unchartered world
Which has been waiting so long for me....
